ARTISTIC DESIGNER
I have been in the
beauty business doing hair, skin care & hair removal since 1979. I have
owned my own salon as well as worked for others. In that time period, I
have acquired my state teaching license in cosmetology and a bachelor’s
degree in psychology.
In my time away
from the salon I volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s “Look Good
Feel Better” program doing wig selections and make-up classes for cancer
patients. I am also on the advisory board for the Bethlehem Area Vo-Tech
School Cosmetology Dept.
Fifteen years ago,
I started at GAdZooKS which now feels like my second home. Allot has
changed since 1979 except for one thing~How it feels when my client
smiles and is happy with the results of my labor. It is truly the best
part! This is always a challenge as clients are now more informed and
demanding than in years past. Communication and understanding a client’s
need are of paramount importance. As the world becomes more and more
impersonal, I feel we must deliver more personal service and make each
client feel special.
