FAQ
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online, call, or email for appointments.
Why do all your prices say +?
Each head of hair comes with its own situation, ie: length, thickness, health, transformation, etc. We adjust pricing to accommodate the individual care needed and the time/product it takes to give you the service you need.
What does "community-centered salon" mean?
It means that Gadzooks actively supports the community of the Lehigh Valley through donations, highlighting local businesses, partnerships, and hosts events for the community at the space. We are dedicated to learning about your needs and wants so that we can better serve the community and the individuals of the community.
What should I bring to my appointment and can I show pics of hairstyles I like?
Absolutely! You can upload pics of what you are looking for directly while booking, or bring them in to show your stylist during your consultation. Other than that, just bring your smile.
What if I'm unhappy with my service?
While this is a rare occurrence, please let us know! We do not want anyone leaving disappointed. Our team will assess the situation and offer the best course forward whether that be an adjustment at no additional cost, a full refund plus adjustment, etc.
What is your cancellation policy?
We charge 50% of the service total for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice. We charge 100% of the service total if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment.
What happens if I'm late?
It happens, we understand. If you can, send us a text to let us know. If not, we will do our best to accommodate when you do arrive.
Do you offer consultations?
Absolutely! Each appointment starts with a stylist consult to make sure everyone is on the same page. If you are considering a major transformation we recommend booking a consult only before any work is started. This assures the request can be achieved, steering you clear of problems, and/or letting you know what to expect before you start.
Why does Gadzooks describe hair care as self-care?
Because it is. We realize that self-care is a buzz word these days, but we all need care in our lives. Hair care is a common experience involving physical touch, intimate interaction with your stylist, and a safe space where you can enjoy the company of others—all of these are self-care. In addition, we also throw in shampoo scalp massages, massage chairs, and top-of-the-line equipment like quieter hair dryers with red light therapy for shinier hair and scalp health.
